Vac-Trap Grit Catcher for Aquatech
Inline grit catcher basket for vacuum truck sewer cleaning systems during jetting operations.
The Vac-Trap Grit Catcher for Aquatech is designed for sewer line cleaning using combination vacuum trucks, connecting directly to Aquatech systems without the need for rope or fiberglass pole equipment. This vacuum truck grit catcher is used during jetting operations to collect grit and sediment within the pipeline.
The unit is placed in the sewer line to capture grit and sediment as jetting is performed. Once the basket is filled, operators can initiate the vacuum process to remove the collected material. This method allows material to be contained prior to vacuuming while reducing water use during cleaning operations.
The Vac-Trap is available with 6″ or 8″ flange connections and is compatible with pipe sizes from 6″–24″, allowing use across a range of sewer system configurations.
